Sonora and nearby communities got slammed with rain, sleet/hail, and snow! The temp is in the high 30's and the time of day is 3:30. Burrrrrrrr! Get out the long johns, people, and whatever else keeps your body & soul warm.

I am anxiously waiting for third novel, Leaving Family Behind, to emerge on the scene. Publishers say around early spring or into April is when it should be released. Next in line is my first poetry book, The Mind is Sorry the Body Suffers. Also included in this work are nine sketches. I will keep you posted when this will be release.

Currently I am working on sequel to Leaving Family Behind. It is too soon to release a title. Remember whatever the weather or circumstance you are in educate your perception by understanding the nature of things around you. Try it but I suggest you be open to mistakes, instruction, and criticism. My answer for the offensive three is to take it in as wisdom. You will be surprised at how much this will calm you and stifle grade school like behaviour and narrow minded thinking.

Changing of Titles

I am sorry bloggers about the changing of titles. I have decided to keep the original title of Thumb Flagging. Thanks for following and reading my work.
As I look out my study window I see a bully of a storm marching. Yikes!

I was watching people in the bar's full-height mirror when her athletic figure caught my eye. She wore a strapless, black dress that pronounced every curve. Her braided dreadlocks hung to her shoulders, dusting apple-butter skin. Although she had on high heels, she walked very confidently and lightly, as if she were a ballerina. I casually turned around to get a better view. The woman appeared to be unconcerned with how many people were watching her while she made her way toward the bar.

I urgently motioned for Lenny, the bartender. "Hey Lenny," I said, gesturing with my head toward the beautiful woman. "Who's that?"
